Jazz Laid Down
Monday, February 11, 2013
In the spirit of the Beat days, when smoke hung in the air, fingers snapped, and musicians played jazz like they never had before, TriTone Asylum – along with special guest Charlie Haden, Rachael, and the musicians of MUSE/IQUE – will take over the Castle Press, breaking down the genre’s coolest era from Miles to Metheny to Dave Brubeck. The performance will also feature an original dance created by Alice Alyce, a Joffrey Ballet Artistic Director.
